As used in this Part, the following terms shall have the meaning
indicated:
Any sign or poster which displays or advertises the name,
photograph, image or likeness of, or which is intended to promote
the election of, any candidate for public office.
The Township of Lower Swatara, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to
place, erect or in any manner attach any form of political sign on
or to any public property located within the Township including, but
not limited, such property as trees, rocks, hydrants, bridges, sidewalks,
curbs and streets.

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to
place, erect or in any other manner attach any form of political sign
on or to any utility pole situated or located within the Township
of Lower Swatara.

No political sign shall be placed or erected anywhere within the
Township earlier than 30 days prior to the date of the election in
which the person advertised by such political sign is a candidate.
2.
All political signs erected or placed within the Township shall be
removed within 15 days after the date of the election in which the
person advertised by such political sign was a candidate.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision
of this Part shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a
fine of not more than $600 plus costs and, in default of payment of
said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 30 days.
