Editor's Note: The currently effective ordinances and resolutions
establishing salaries or authorizing payment of compensation to all
other officers and employees of the Borough not covered in this chapter
are on file in the Borough offices.
The compensation of the President of Borough Council shall be
increased from $30 per month for a regular meeting to $60 per meeting
for attendance at a regular meeting and from $20 per month for a special
meeting to $40 per meeting for attendance at special meetings, but
in no event shall such compensation exceed $2,500 per year.
Compensation for each member of Borough Council shall be increased
from $30 per month for a regular meeting to $50 per meeting for attendance
at a regular meeting and from $20 per month for a special meeting
to $30 per meeting for a special meeting, but in no event shall such
compensation exceed $1,875 per year.
Compensation for the Borough Mayor shall be increased from $30
per month for a regular meeting to $60 per meeting for attendance
at a regular meeting and from $20 per month for a special meeting
to $40 per meeting for attendance at a special meeting, but in no
event shall such compensation exceed $2,500 per year.

The compensation of the Tax Collector for collection of Borough
real estate and per capita taxes shall be increased from $1.90 per
bill collected to $2.25 per bill collected, effective on the first
Monday of January, 2018.
This chapter shall be effective immediately upon its enactment
but shall only apply to the above officials who are elected or appointed
to and begin a new term of office after the effective date.
