Charcoal burners and other open-flame cooking devices shall be permitted upon private property solely for the purpose of cooking foods in accordance with the following provisions:
1. 
No person shall use such charcoal burners or other open-flame cooking devices for the burning of domestic refuse, rubbish, trade waste, or yard waste.
2. 
Charcoal burners or other open-flame cooking devices shall not be used for such purposes other than cooking food.
3. 
Charcoal burners or other open-flame cooking devices shall not be used indoors, on balconies, covered porches/decks, or in any enclosed areas that are not properly ventilated, i.e., garage.
4. 
Charcoal burners or other open-flame cooking devices shall not be operated within 10 feet of any combustible construction.

Outdoor chimineas or factory-built novelty stoves shall be permitted upon private property in accordance with the following provisions:
1. 
No person shall use such outdoor chimineas or factory-built novelty stoves for the burning of domestic refuse, rubbish, trade waste, or yard waste.
2. 
If smoke, ash, or smell emitting from such outdoor chimineas or factory-built novelty stoves becomes objectionable or offensive to neighboring properties, the Police Department may order the suspension of the operation of the same.
3. 
Outdoor chimineas or factory-built novelty stoves shall be used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
4. 
Outdoor chimineas or factory-built novelty stoves shall not be operated within 15 feet of any structure or combustible material.

Recreational fires shall be permitted upon private property subject to the following conditions:
1. 
No person shall use such recreational fire for the burning of domestic refuse, rubbish, trade waste, or yard waste.
2. 
Recreational fires shall not exceed a size of three feet diameter on the ground, and two feet in height.
3. 
Recreational fires must be contained within a fire pit or ring or in an outdoor fireplace.
4. 
Recreational fires shall not be conducted within 25 feet of any structure or combustible material. Conditions which could cause a fire to spread within 25 feet of a structure shall be eliminated prior to ignition.
5. 
Recreational burning may be conducted only between sunrise and 12:00 midnight.
