This Part shall be known as the "Real Estate Tax Information Ordinance of the Borough of Wyoming."

This Part is hereby declared to provide funds to the Tax Collector to supply banks, lending institutions, Realtors, attorneys and title agencies with necessary tax information for real estate transactions.

Fee Collection. No tax information shall be disseminated by the Tax Collector' s Office to any bank, lending institution, realtor, attorney or title agent until a fee of $10 has been received by the Tax Collector.

Fee Allocation. The fee of $10 is accessed on a per parcel basis, therefore if one request for information involves more than one property, an additional $10 will be charged; i.e., three properties equals $30.

Information Provided. Current taxes, upon receipt of the fee the Tax Collector shall provide information consisting of the amount of current taxes on a specified parcel of real estate, including the county, Borough and school taxes. This information shall be provided by telephone, fax machine or First Class Mail.
2. 
Delinquent Taxes. Information on past due or delinquent taxes that are no longer payable at the Tax Collector's office and are payable at the Luzerne County Tax Claim Bureau will not be provided, that information must be obtained at the Luzerne County Courthouse.
