Residents, property owners, and business owners must provide their name, address, business location, proof of residency as necessary, phone number, together with a valid registration and proof of valid inspection for each vehicle for which a permit or parking meter pass is requested.
B.
Permits and parking meter passes will be issued for parking of personal passenger vehicles and for no other purpose. The parking of recreational vehicles, campers, snowmobiles, trailers, box trucks and oversized vehicles, etc., is prohibited, as is any activity which causes damage to the surface of the parking lot. Oversized vehicles are defined as follows: vehicles with more than two axles and vehicles exceeding an unloaded curb weight limit of 21,500 pounds.

Permits are transferable from vehicle to vehicle within a household. Parking meter passes are transferable. All vehicles for which a permit or pass will be used must be listed with the Borough at the time the permit is issued. Only one vehicle per parking space and one vehicle per permit or pass will be allowed at any given time unless otherwise authorized by the Borough of Bath Schedule of Fees Resolution, as amended by Borough Council from time to time.
D.
Permits and parking meter passes must be displayed on the dashboard or rearview mirror in plain view. Parking meter passes do not guarantee a designated metered parking space; a parking meter pass authorizes unlimited timed parking within a metered space if available. Vehicle owners/permit and pass applicants with outstanding parking fines, taxes, sanitation bills, or any other municipal claim relevant to the Borough are not eligible to receive parking permit(s) or parking meter passes.
E.
Permits and parking meter passes are the sole property of the Borough of Bath and must be surrendered on demand. Permits and parking meter passes must also be surrendered when a resident, property owner, and business owner moves from the Borough.
F.
Permit and parking meter pass fees are nonrefundable and shall be established by the Borough of Bath Schedule of Fees Resolution, as amended by Borough Council from time to time. The Borough Office reserves the right to issue "verified visitor" parking meter passes.
Any vehicle found to be in violation of this chapter may be removed from public property, towed and impounded.
