The Zoning Administrator and Mayor shall primarily enforce this
UDO. If any building or structure is erected, constructed, reconstructed,
altered, converted, moved or maintained, or any building, structure,
or land is used in violation of this Chapter or regulations made under
its authority, the City may institute any proper action or proceedings
to prevent the unlawful erection, construction, reconstruction, alteration,
conversion, moving, maintenance or use; to restrain, correct or abate
the violation; to prevent the occupancy or use of the building, structure,
or land; or to prevent any illegal act, conduct, business or use in
and to the premises.

All violations under the previous regulations that exist within
the City as of the effective date of this Unified Development Ordinance,
shall continue to be violations and shall not be considered to be
legal, nonconforming situations under this UDO. The City shall have
the authority to secure remedies for violations of those regulations
to the same extent that it may secure similar remedies for violations
of this UDO.
