The Mayor shall be considered a full-time employee as defined in Chapter 2, Art. III, § 2-75, Town of Cumberland Employee Handbook.

In addition to salary, the Mayor shall be entitled to the following benefits:
(1) 
The same health and welfare benefits as are provided to executive staff pursuant to Chapter 2, Art. III, § 2-75, Town of Cumberland Employee Handbook.
(2) 
The same life insurance benefit as is provided to executive staff pursuant to Chapter 2, Art. III, § 2-75, Town of Cumberland Employee Handbook.
(3) 
The same R.I. Municipal Employees Plan or deferred compensation plan 457B, as is provided to executive staff pursuant to Chapter 2, Art. III, § 2-75, Town of Cumberland Employee Handbook.
(4) 
In consideration of the salary provided by ordinance, the Mayor shall be entitled to vacation, sick and personal time (collectively, paid time off) of 25 days annually, unless otherwise approved by the Town Council.
The Mayor shall not be entitled to pay-outs for unused vacation, sick or personal time. Final compensation paid to the Mayor at his/her separation from office shall be limited to salary that has been earned but not paid.
