§ 3:11-1 Health Advisory Consortium.

(a) Within the Division of Health shall be established a Health Advisory Consortium. The Consortium shall consist of seven (7) members to be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council.

(b) The Consortium shall consist of the following: one (1) Institutional Health Care Provider, one (1) Community Health Provider, one (1) Community Health Board member, one (1) Community Physician; two (2) health care consumers; and one (1) member of the City Council.

(c) Each member shall serve for a term of three (3) years; all appointments shall designate the date of expiration of the terms.

(d) The Health Advisory Consortium shall advise and consult with the Director and the Health Officer with respect to matters of public health, and the planning, programs, and facilities for public health within the City, and may make recommendations with respect thereto to the Mayor and the City Council.
