This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the Landscape Ordinance and Minimum Landscape Requirements for the Borough of Roosevelt, codified as Chapter 22, Landscape Requirements, of the Roosevelt Borough Code.
It is the intent of this chapter to promote the health, safety
and welfare of existing and future residents by establishing minimum
standards for the protection of natural plant communities, natural
features and the installation of landscaping within the Borough of
Roosevelt.
The various rules and regulations contained herein are meant
to enable processing of various development applications in accordance
with the procedures and objectives established in the Municipal Land
Use Law (40:55D-1 et seq.).
The provisions of this chapter shall be administered by the
Planning Board of the Borough of Roosevelt.
This chapter shall apply to any new subdivision or site plan.
Single-family homes and duplexes shall be exempt.
