A Water and Sewer Department for the City of Weatherford is
hereby created. The head of this department shall be the Water and
Sewer Superintendent, appointed for an indefinite term. The department
shall function under the supervision and guidance of such Superintendent.
It shall be the duty of the Water and Sewer Department to maintain,
improve, and operate the municipally owned water and sewer system,
including treatment and disposal.
The Water and Sewer Department shall have such employees as
may be authorized and funded by the Board of Commissioners. All employees
shall be under the supervision of the Water and Sewer Department superintendent.
