Short-term rentals of residential units are permitted in the Town, subject to the following limitations and requirements:
A. 
The residential unit must be legally permitted and approved under the Town of Lowell Zoning Ordinance.[1]

B. 
Rentals must be to the same one renter per seven-day period. The renter can rent for one day, or up to all seven days or more, but if the rental is for less than seven days, no other rental can occur for the remainder of that seven-day period.
C. 
) The owner or manager of a short-term rental unit rented for 10 or more days in any 365-day period is required to get a license from the State of Wisconsin (see Ch. ATCP 72, Wis. Adm. Code) and is further required to provide a copy of that license to the Town Clerk.
