The goal of the Two-Family Residential Overlay District is to
allow developers to have the option of developing, or redeveloping,
designated lots for two-family dwellings, while also retaining the
developers' option to develop, or redevelop, in accordance with
the underlying zone district. As such, the Two-Family Residential
Overlay District designation does not replace the underlying land
use designation for these parcels, nor does it replace any other overlay
designations imposed on these parcels; it merely supplements it.
The uses set forth below shall be permitted as a development
alternative to the underlying zoned uses allowed by this chapter;
but shall not replace the underlying zoning district.
A. Principal uses. The following principal uses are permitted in the
Two-Family Residential Overlay District:
(1)
Two-family dwellings, as defined by §
230-54 of this chapter.
B. Accessory uses. The following accessory uses are permitted in the
Two-Family Residential Overlay District:
(1)
All accessory uses permitted in the underlying R-20A Residential
District.
