There is adopted and incorporated by reference herein as the
city electrical code for the purpose of prescribing regulations in
the city of Lemon Grove for the installation, alteration or repair
of electrical systems and permit requirements and inspection thereof,
the 2022 California Electrical Code, Part 3, Title 24 of the California
Code of Regulations, a portion of the 2022 California Building Standards
Code based on the National Electrical Code. Except as otherwise provided
by this chapter of the city of Lemon Grove Municipal Code, all installation,
alteration or repair of electrical systems within the city of Lemon
Grove shall be in conformance with 2022 California Electrical Code,
published by the California Building Standards Commission.
