The UCC shall be used for all applications governed thereunder.
In addition to the requirements of the UCC and where not inconsistent therewith, the following shall apply:
A. 
Water servicing piping shall be installed below recorded frost penetration but not less than four feet, zero inches below grade. In climates with freezing temperatures, plumbing piping in exterior building walls or areas subject to freezing temperatures shall be protected against freezing by insulation or heat or both.
B. 
Building sewers that connect to private sewage disposal systems shall be a minimum of 18 inches below finished grade at the point of septic tank connection. Building sewers shall be a minimum of 18 inches below grade.
C. 
When using plastic-type pipe a bed of five inches of stone must be laid and back-filled with 12 inches of stone above the pipe (as per C.S. Davidson, Inc. type IV pipe bedding/backfill detail 02221-1).
D. 
Building (house) traps shall be installed on every new or additional connection to the sanitary sewer system.
E. 
Beauty salon/barber shop type establishments. Beauty sinks shall discharge into a hair-type interceptor (hair trap).
F. 
Animal grooming establishments. Wash tubs/sinks shall discharge into a hair or solids-type interceptor.
G. 
Curb cleanout. A cleanout shall be installed at or near area of curbline of the property; a curb cleanout shall also be installed when a lateral is repaired or replaced and when no cleanout had been installed previously; all necessary material and labor to install new curb cleanout shall be paid by property owner when lateral is repaired or replaced. Exception: when building trap assembly is within 15 feet of curbline, no curb cleanout is necessary.
Any owner or person as those terms are defined in the Code, who or which violates or permits the violation of any provision of this article or of the Code shall commit a summary criminal offense, and upon conviction by a District Justice, shall be subject to a fine of up to $1,000 plus costs, and imprisonment to the extent allowed by law for summary offenses for each violation. Each day of a violation, and each separate violation of this article or the Code, shall be considered a separate offense.
