Each Supervisor of Washington Township elected or appointed to office after the adoption of this article, but not until all five Supervisors are eligible to receive the same compensation, shall receive compensation for attending duly advertised general or special public meetings or hearings of the Board of Supervisors, or other meetings authorized by the Board of Supervisors at the rate of $65 for each such meeting or hearing attended by such Supervisor, not to exceed the maximum amount provided by Act 60 based on the population of the Township at the time the rate of compensation changes to $65 per meeting.[1]
