The term "Borough License Officer" shall mean
the officer authorized by this chapter to exercise the powers and
duties herein prescribed.

The Borough License Officer shall be the Code
Officer of the Borough of Alpha and shall be appointed for a term
of one year by the Mayor and confirmed by the Council of the Borough
of Alpha, and, when so appointed, he shall exercise the powers and
duties prescribed in this chapter. The Council of the Borough of Alpha
may, by resolution, fix the salary to be paid to such Borough License
Officer or may incorporate same in the Code Officer’s salary.[1]
