A. 
Although the licensing provisions of Article III of this chapter apply to individuals seeking charitable and philanthropic solicitations, there shall be no fee payable to the City of Bridgeton.
B. 
Any investigation ordered pursuant to the provisions of § 254-13B shall include a determination that the applicant is authorized to represent a bona fide charitable or philanthropic organization.
C. 
No permit may grant the right to solicit charitable or philanthropic contributions for a period longer than 30 consecutive days.
A. 
Any charitable solicitor receiving property or any other thing of value from a contributor pursuant to this article shall provide the contributor a written receipt signed by the solicitor listing the organization's name, date, and the amount received (or fair value determined).
B. 
Where it is impractical to determine the amount (or fair value) of each contribution, a receipt shall be not required, such as for closed box contributions, items from collection receptacles, etc.
No soliciting or canvassing activities shall be conducted before 10:00 a.m. or later than 7:00 p.m., or on Sundays or federally recognized holidays.
The provisions of this article shall not apply to solicitations made within the physical property boundaries of a legally established charitable or philanthropic organization not operated for the pecuniary profit, such as an offering during a church service or function.
A. 
The Municipal Clerk shall be responsible to keep a calendar of approved solicitations to be conducted within the City of Bridgeton.

B. 
The Mayor shall have the right to propose alternate dates for a solicitation whenever the requested dates conflict with other solicitations being conducted within the City of Bridgeton.
