A. 
The Board of Supervisors may, from time to time, amend, supplement, change, modify or repeal this chapter. In so doing, the Board shall follow the procedures prescribed in Act 247, the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Act,[1] and shall, by resolution of the Board, fix the time and place of a public hearing on the proposed amendment and shall give public notice thereof.

B. 
All proposed amendments shall, prior to adoption, be referred to the Township Planning Commission (except those amendments prepared by the Planning Commission) and the Chester County Planning Commission at least 30 days prior to the public hearing, for review, recommendation and report (which shall not be binding).
Appeals from the actions of the Board of Supervisors or the Planning Commission with respect to any application for subdivision or land development approval shall be governed by the applicable provisions of Act 247, the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Act, as they may be amended, or any successor legislation thereto.[1]
