The annual compensation of the Mayor of the Incorporated Village
of Hempstead will be fixed at the first annual meeting of the Village
Board of Trustees after the Mayor is sworn in, and the annual compensation
of the Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Hempstead will be fixed
at the first Annual Meeting of the Village Board of Trustees after
the Mayor is sworn in.
The Board of Trustees may fix the compensation
and further declare the powers and duties of all other Village officers
or boards and may require any officer or board of the Village to furnish
reports, estimates or other information relating to any matter within
his or its jurisdiction.
