No person or persons shall engage in the pursuit or business of keeping or conducting within the corporate limits of the Village of Webster, New York, any billiard room or poolroom for money or hire without a license therefor duly issued by the Code Enforcement Officer of the Village and countersigned by the Clerk thereof.

The fee for such license shall be set from time to time by the Village Board.[1]

Any person violating any provision of this article shall be subject to a fine not exceeding $250 or imprisonment not exceeding 15 days, or both.
