A certain document three copies of which are on file in the office of the Township Manager/Secretary/Treasurer of West Brandywine Township, being marked and designated as the International Building Code, including Chapters 1 through 35 and Appendixes A through J (See International Building Code Section 101.2.1, 2000 Edition), as published by the International Code Council, Inc., be and is hereby adopted as the Building Code of West Brandywine Township, Chester County, in the State of Pennsylvania; for the control of building and structures as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Building Code are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this article, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in § 65-2 of this article.
The following sections are hereby revised:
A. 
Section 101.1: Insert "West Brandywine Township" as the "NAME OF JURISDICTION."
B. 
Section 108.2: Add as Schedule of Permit Fees, Resolution #02-03, to be adopted on February 6, 2003.
C. 
Section 1612.3: Insert "West Brandywine Township" as the "NAME OF JURISDICTION."
D. 
Section 3409.2: Insert "February 6, 2003" as the "DATE TO BE INSERTED BY THE JURISDICTION."
That nothing in this article or in the Building Code hereby adopted shall be construed to affect any suit or proceeding impending in any court, or any rights acquired, or liability incurred, or any cause or causes of action acquired or existing, under any act or ordinance hereby repealed as cited in § 65-2 of this article; nor shall any just or legal right or remedy of any character be lost, impaired or affected by this article.

Certain documents, three copies of which are on file in the office of the Township Manager/Secretary/Treasurer of West Brandywine Township, being marked and designated as International Residential Code, including Chapters 1 through 43 and Appendixes A through K (See International Residential Code Section R102.5, 2000 Edition), as published by the International Code Council, is hereby adopted as the code of the West Brandywine Township for regulating the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair, location, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of one- and two-family dwellings and townhouses not more than three stories in height in West Brandywine Township, and providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, conditions and terms of such International Residential Code, 2000 Edition, published by the International Code Council, on file in the office of West Brandywine Township, are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this article.
