It is hereby resolved that the Town of Wilton
hereby adopts the provisions of Connecticut General Statutes, §§ 4-124(c)
through 4-124(h), as amended, and hereby authorizes and directs the
First Selectman to meet in council with the chief elective officers
of other towns in the Southwestern Regional Planning Area to establish
a Regional Council of Elected Officials to facilitate economic development
and other matters. In connection with said Regional Council, the First
Selectman shall have all the powers and authority and be subject to
all of the restrictions and regulations as set forth in said statute.
Effective date of the ordinance is February
8, 1994.
