The salary of the Mayor of the Borough of Wilkinsburg shall be set at
five thousand dollars ($5,000.) per year.

The salary for members of Borough Council shall be set at three thousand
three hundred dollars ($3,300.) per year.

The commission to be paid to the Tax Collector for the collection of
Borough taxes effective January 1, 2006, shall be as follows:
A.
For all taxes collected at discount: a commission of 0.17 of
one per centum (0.17%);
B.
For all taxes collected at face: a commission of 0.4 of one
per centum (0.4%)
C.
For all taxes collected when a penalty shall be added thereto:
a commission of 1.4% provided that said Tax Collector maintain office hours
in the Borough from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. In the
event that the Tax Collector does not continuously maintain said office hours,
then the commission shall be 4/10 of a per centum (0.4%);
D.
For the collection of discount, face and penalty taxes collectively:
A cap on the total commission for all real estate taxes collected for the
Borough is set at $11,000 per year.
