[Adopted 10-21-1985 as Ch. 48, Art. II, of the 1985 Code]
Pursuant to the powers and authorities vested in the Town Board by said Town Law § 64, Subdivision 3, the Town Board hereby adopts the following rules and regulations, in addition to the Park Ordinance (Ordinance No. 38)[1] and amendments thereto:
A. 
The roads in said parks shall be blocked off by physical barriers after closing hours and may not be used by the public.
B. 
Parking of vehicles of any type and description shall not be allowed except in designated areas. Said designated areas shall be conspicuously posted in each park. Drivers and owners of automobiles using the roads in the town parks shall observe the speed limits posted in said park.
C. 
No littering shall be allowed in the parks, and all refuse, rubbish and garbage of all types shall be placed in receptacles properly marked and provided for said purpose.
D. 
Any person or persons violating said rules and regulations shall be subjected to removal from the park property by authorized park personnel and/or police enforcement officers.
E. 
The Chief of Police shall have complete discretion regarding priorities of enforcement of any of said park rules and regulations, and he shall not be restricted or obliged to respond to calls in the event that other police matters occurring at the same time within the town are determined more important.

In addition to the above rules and regulations, Park Ordinance No. 38[1] shall be fully enforced, and the fines and penalties therein specified shall remain in full force and effect.

Said rules and regulations, the Park Ordinance (Ordinance No. 38) and pertinent provisions of the Town Noise Ordinance (Ordinance No. 17)[1] shall be conspicuously posted at various locations in the town parks.
