[Adopted 12-11-1972 by Ord. No. 048-72]
The Mayor and Borough Council deem it to be
in the best interest of the Borough of Oakmont to prohibit any police
officer of the Borough of Oakmont from holding the public office of
Constable or accepting an appointment or serving or acting as a Constable
or Deputy Constable.
Any violation of this article shall be grounds
for dismissal as a police officer from the police force of the Borough
of Oakmont.
