Editor's Note: This ordinance also repealed former Art. I, Adoption of Standards, adopted 11-28-1994 by Ord. No. 94-2, and served as a correction of Ord. No. 96-1, adopted 4-27-1996, which ordinance was never codified per instruction of the Borough.
A certain document, copies of which are on file in the offices of the Borough of Jenkintown, being marked and designated as the "BOCA National Fire Prevention Code, Eleventh Edition, 1999," be and is hereby adopted as the Fire Prevention Code of the Borough of Jenkintown, in the State of Pennsylvania, for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said BOCA National Fire Prevention Code are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this article, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in § 94-2 of this article.
A. 
The BOCA National Fire Prevention Code is amended and changed in the following respects:
(1) 
In Section F-101.1, insert "Jenkintown Borough."
(2) 
In Section F-107.2, Permit fees, insert "as adopted by resolution."
(3) 
Delete Section F-107.4.
(4) 
In Section F- 3003.2, Storage, insert "none in the Borough of Jenkintown."
(5) 
In Section F-3004.0, Storage of Explosives, insert "None in the Borough of Jenkintown." The limits referred to in the above sections of the BOCA National Fire Prevention Code in which general requirements and storage of explosives, ammunition and blasting agents are prohibited are hereby established as follows: "None in the Borough of Jenkintown."
The limits referred to in Section F-2601.2 of the BOCA National Fire Prevention Code in which the storage of explosives, ammunition and blasting agents is prohibited are hereby established as follows: "None in the Borough of Jenkintown."
