A. 
The location and erection of all stop signs within the Township of Kilbuck are adopted and ratified.
B. 
The police of the Township of Kilbuck shall have authority to locate, erect or eliminate stop signs in the Township if the consent thereto has been given upon ordinance of the Township Supervisors.[1]

C. 
A permanent record of all stop signs in the Township shall be maintained in the office of the Secretary and shall be available for public inspection during normal business hours.
A. 
Taxicabs or buses are prohibited from standing or parking on any highway of Kilbuck Township, except at designated locations.
B. 
No person shall park a vehicle within 20 feet of either side of an area or within an area marked as a bus stop, or within an area marked as a loading zone.
C. 
No person shall park a vehicle at any time in or within 25 feet of an intersection.
D. 
No person shall park a vehicle at any time within 25 feet of a fire hydrant.
E. 
No person shall park a vehicle in front of a private entrance or a private road or lane, or in any alley which is 10 feet or less wide.
F. 
No person shall park a vehicle for any period of time on any of the streets, roads, lanes, alleys, bridges, squares or public places without lights both in the front and rear of said vehicle, during the period from one hour after sunset until one hour before sunrise.
G. 
No person shall park a vehicle on any of the streets, roads, lanes, alleys bridges, squares or public places for more than two hours between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., E.S.T.
H. 
No person shall park a vehicle with its left side to the curb except on a duly designated and marked one-way street.[1]

I. 
No person shall park a vehicle in such a way as to block traffic; nor shall any person park a vehicle at the side of any vehicle parked alongside the curb of any of the streets, roads, lanes, alleys, bridges, squares or public places.
J. 
No person shall park a vehicle on any sidewalk.
Any person operating a vehicle holding any material extending over either end of such vehicle shall maintain at the end of such material a red flag during the day and a red light, visible for 300 feet, during the period from one hour after sunset until one hour before sunrise.
A. 
The police shall have full authority to direct Township employees to locate, erect or eliminate "no parking" signs provided, however, that specific consent to said location, erection or elimination has been given by the Board of Supervisors by ordinance.[1]

B. 
A permanent record of all "No Parking" signs in the Township shall be maintained in the office of the Secretary and shall be available for public inspection during normal business hours.
It shall be unlawful to operate or cause to be operated a motor vehicle, trailer or semi-trailer having a gross weight, including chassis, body and load, in excess of 20,000 pounds over and upon any hard-surfaced road under the jurisdiction of the Township within the physical boundaries of the Township, except as hereinafter set forth:
A. 
Under certain conditions and circumstances the Chief of Police may issue a special hauling permit to enable motor vehicles having a gross weight in excess of 20,000 pounds to be operated upon hard-surfaced roads under the jurisdiction of and within the physical boundaries of the Township. The said permit shall expire 30 days after issuance unless revoked sooner pursuant to the authority set forth in other sections of the ordinances of the Township. However, the Chief of Police is hereby vested with the authority to extend the aforesaid thirty-day period if in his discretion he determines that the circumstances attendant to the hauling project justify an extension of time. The factors that may be taken into account include, but are not limited to, the following: weather conditions; size of the project; reasonable time periods for completion of the project and the diligence of the permit holder in completion of the project for which hauling is necessary.

B. 
Any person, firm or corporation or other entity desiring to operate a motor vehicle over and upon any hard-surfaced roads under the jurisdiction of and within the physical boundaries of the Township must apply to the police of Kilbuck Township for a special hauling permit upon a form prepared by the Township; and if any combined job weight is in excess of 100,000 pounds (such as six loads at 20,000 pounds each), applicant must post a bond guaranteeing Township that applicant shall and will, upon notice from Township, repair or pay for any damage to any road damaged by applicant as a result of the operation of a motor vehicle by applicant.
C. 
Each application must be accompanied by a special hauling permit fee in an amount as set from time to time by resolution of the Board of Supervisors. In addition, if a bond is required to be posted, the application must be accompanied by the cost or fee charged to the Township by its professional engineer for work attendant to the bonding analysis, said cost or fee to be fair and reasonable and is intended only to reimburse the Township for its actual costs associated with the processing of the application.

D. 
The police may revoke the special hauling permit at any time.
E. 
No person, firm or corporation shall operate a tractor upon the highways of the Township in such a manner as to cause extraordinary damage to the roadway when the roads are soft because of weather conditions.
F. 
Littering of roadways.
(1) 
No person, firm or corporation shall drive or move any truck or other vehicle within the Township unless such vehicle is so constructed or loaded as to prevent any load, contents or litter from being blown or deposited upon any street or road in the Township.
(2) 
No person, firm or corporation shall drive or move any truck or other vehicle within the Township, the wheels of which carry onto or deposit on any street or road in the Township mud, dirt, sticky substances, litter or foreign matter of any kind.
(3) 
If, in the course of excavation, building or construction or development of any property, any mud or dirt or any other foreign substance is unavoidably carried onto any street or road in the Township, it shall be the duty of the property owner and/or contractor having supervision over the job to remove the same at the end of each workday, so as to make the street or road clean and safe for the passage of normal vehicular traffic.
A. 
The police shall have full authority to direct Township employees to locate, erect or eliminate speed limit signs provided, however, that specific consent to said location, erection or elimination has been given by the Board of Supervisors by ordinance.
B. 
A permanent record of all speed limit signs in the Township shall be maintained in the office of the Secretary and shall be available for public inspection during normal business hours.
