Surveyor stakes used for the determination of property lines are temporary and must be removed within 30 days of installation; however, they may be replaced with permanent monuments.

The roof of a building or dwelling shall be covered with one type of material with a uniform color and the repair or replacement of any portion of a roof shall be made with a material and color in conformity with the existing roof.
Insofar as any provisions of this chapter are essentially the same as any provisions of the previously adopted Village Building and Plumbing Code (Ord. No. 15), as amended, such provisions shall be deemed continuations and reenactments of such previously adopted provisions and shall be deemed effective as of the original date of enactment and continuously thereafter. Only such provisions of said Village Building and Plumbing Code as are inconsistent or in conflict with provisions of this chapter and/or the State Building Construction Code shall be deemed superseded or repealed by this chapter and all other provisions shall continue in effect as previously adopted.
If any clause, sentence, paragraph, section or part of this chapter shall be adjudged by any court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such judgment shall not affect, impair or invalidate the remainder thereof but shall be confined in its operation to the clause, sentence, paragraph, section or part thereof directly involved in the controversy in which such judgment shall have been rendered.
This chapter shall take effect immediately upon filing with the Secretary of State and Comptroller of the State of New York as provided by law.
