Running at large. No dog, cattle, goat, swine, fowl and/or other like animal or livestock shall run or be permitted by its owner to run upon any public street, sidewalk, thoroughfare, park, playground, school yard or in any of the public places of the municipality or upon any private property without the prior consent of the owner.[1]

Any person or persons found guilty of violating the provisions of this article shall be punished by a fine of not more than $500 or by imprisonment in the Cumberland County Jail for a term not exceeding 90 days, or both.
