Editor's Note: The School Committee was first mentioned in the 1927 Bylaw Review.
The Town voted to increase the membership of the School Committee from three to five members. Said additional two members shall be elected at the 1972 Annual Town Election for terms of one and two years, respectively, and at the termination thereof for three-year terms.

The Town voted to authorize the creation of a School Building Committee, to be appointed by the Moderator, not to exceed 12 members. At least two members shall be current members of the School Committee and one of whom shall be the Superintendent of Schools.
