Any person or persons who shall, in any manner whatsoever, break, disturb, mar or interfere with any fountain or hydrant in this Village, except those authorized to use or repair the same, shall be liable to a fine in the sum of $10 for each and every offense and in addition thereto shall be subject to an action for the damages caused.

Any person or persons who shall break, mar, injure, remove or deface any building, fence, sign, tree, shrubbery or other property of the Village of Sleepy Hollow, in any manner whatsoever, shall be liable to a fine not exceeding $30 and in addition thereto shall be made to reimburse the Village for the damage so sustained by it.
No person shall cut down, lop, girdle, destroy or injure any tree or shrub now growing or hereinafter to grow in any of the public streets, highways, alleys or public grounds of this Village without permission of the Board of Trustees. Any person violating any of the provisions of this section shall be subject to a fine in the sum of $25 for each and every offense.
