The Town Comptroller of the Town of Blooming Grove shall reside
in the County of Orange, in any county adjoining the County of Orange
and within the State of New York, or in the County of Westchester.
There shall be no requirement that the Town Comptroller be an elector
of the Town of Blooming Grove.
This article is adopted pursuant to the state Municipal Home
Rule Law. This article is intended to and shall supersede the state
Public Officers Law § 3, Town Law § 23 and any
other special law to the extent such law may require that the Town
Comptroller reside within the Town of Blooming Grove or be an elector
of the Town.
