It is in the best interests of the citizens of the Borough of
Bellmawr that dog park rules and regulations be established.
The following rules and regulations are hereby established:
A.
Dog park hours are dawn till dusk and may be closed or adjusted as
conditions require.
B.
Maximum of two dogs per adult at once in park. When others are waiting,
please limit your use to 30 minutes. Maximum amount of dogs allowed
at one time is six.
C.
Dogs must be leashed prior to entering and leaving the park.
D.
All responsible persons shall, at all times, clean up after dogs
and dispose of waste in proper containers.
E.
Adults must maintain control over dogs at all times and must immediately
remove threatening or aggressive dogs. "Mounting" may be cause for
removal of the dog from the park.
F.
Any dog over the age of four months must be healthy, vaccinated,
legally licensed and wearing ID tags prior to use of the dog exercise
area.
G.
Dogs under the age of four months are prohibited from the dog park.
H.
Female dogs in heat are not permitted in any dog exercise area.
I.
No food or food products are allowed, whether intended for human
or dog consumption.
J.
While inside the dog park boundaries, an adult must accompany minors
under the age of 15. Children under the age of eight are not permitted
in the dog park.
K.
Gates must remain closed at all times.
L.
All rules governing Borough parks and recreation areas and relevant
parking regulations apply.
