For every new construction or renovation which equals or exceeds 50% of the assessed value of the structure, the installation of a separate electric meter and, where natural gas service is provided, a separate natural gas meter for each single-family dwelling unit, duplex dwelling unit or multifamily dwelling unit is required. The terms "duplex dwellings" and "multifamily dwellings" shall be as those terms are defined in the Zoning Ordinance of the Township of Long Beach.[1]
