A. 
The following schedule shall apply for ambulance services;
Base rate emergency: See Schedule of Fees, Title I, Appendix A.
Base rate non-emergency: See Schedule of Fees, Title I, Appendix A.
Base rate, Medicare emergency — all inclusive: See Schedule of Fees, Title I, Appendix A.
Base rate, Medicare critical — all inclusive: See Schedule of Fees, Title I, Appendix A.
Base rate, Medicare non-emergency — all inclusive: See Schedule of Fees, Title I, Appendix A.
Scene treatment — no transport: See Schedule of Fees, Title I, Appendix A.
Waiting time per thirty minutes: See Schedule of Fees, Title I, Appendix A.
Mileage per loaded mile: See Schedule of Fees, Title I, Appendix A.
Airway management: See Schedule of Fees, Title I, Appendix A.
Blood glucose test: See Schedule of Fees, Title I, Appendix A.

B. 
Charges for pharmaceuticals are set annually based on actual cost plus replacement and disposal fee.
C. 
The base rate and ancillary charges shall also apply to services rendered by the Excelsior Springs Fire Department when transportation is handled by other ground or air ambulances.

Section 250.020 Ambulance Membership Program.

A. 
Residents of the City of Excelsior Springs may apply for membership in the Ambulance Membership Program. Terms of this program are as follows and will apply to emergency service only:
1. 
Residents of the City of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, who are fifty-five (55) years of age or older: See Schedule of Fees, Title I, Appendix A per year, per household.
2. 
Residents of the City of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, who qualify as disabled under the Americans with Disabilities Act: See Schedule of Fees, Title I, Appendix A per year, per household.
3. 
Residents of the City of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, who are under fifty-five (55) years of age: See Schedule of Fees, Title I, Appendix A per year, per household.
4. 
Persons who are members of the Ambulance Membership Program will be granted a fifty percent (50%) reduction on the base charge of any non-emergency ambulance transport.
