The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this chapter, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Any person who shall do any act or engage in any practice enumerated in § 200-2, as well as any person who shall aid and abet another to do any such act or engage in such practice.
No person shall be disorderly in the Village. Disorderly conduct shall include, but not be limited to, the following acts or practices:
A. 
Intoxication in a public place and either endangering directly the safety of another person or of property or acting in a manner which causes a public disturbance.
B. 
Being under the influence of any narcotic drugs.
C. 
Drinking any alcoholic liquor in or on any public street, park or place.
D. 
Discharging any firearms, air rifle, or other dangerous weapon within or into the Village, or possessing any such dangerous weapon in any public street, park or place unless the weapon is licensed as required by law or securely wrapped or encased.
E. 
Engaging in any window peeping.[1]

F. 
Swimming or bathing in the nude in any public place.
G. 
Uttering any vile, blasphemous, vulgar or obscene language in any public place or in such a way as to subject the public to such language.

H. 
Making any indecent exposure of one's person.
I. 
Wilfully destroying or damaging or in any manner defacing, destroying, injuring or tampering with any property not his or her own, or marking or posting handbills on or in any manner marring the walls of any public building or any fence, tree or pole within the Village, or taking or meddling with any property belonging to the Village, or removing the same from the building or place where it may be kept, placed, standing or stored without authority from the custodian of such property.
J. 
Accosting, molesting or otherwise annoying, either by word of mouth, whistle, or by sign or motion, any person in any public place.
K. 
Spitting on any street or sidewalk, or in any public carrier, public building, or place of public assemblage, except in receptacles placed there for such purposes.
L. 
Collecting or standing in crowds or arranging, encouraging or abetting the collection of persons in crowds for illegal or mischievous purposes in any public place.
M. 
Engaging in any disturbance, fight or quarrel in any public place.
N. 
Jostling or roughly crowding persons in any street, alley, park or public building.
O. 
Conducting oneself in any public place so as to obstruct the free and uninterrupted passage of the public.
P. 
Engaging in prostitution or soliciting or accosting any person for the purpose of inducing the commission of any illegal or immoral act.
Q. 
Keeping or maintaining or permitting the use of a gambling room, table or equipment, or any policy or pool tickets, to be used for gambling on any premises occupied or controlled by such person.
R. 
Conducting or attending any cockfight or dogfight.
S. 
Placing, receiving or transmitting any bet on the outcome of any race, contest or game of any kind whatsoever.
T. 
Permitting or suffering any place occupied or controlled by a person to be a resort of noisy, boisterous or disorderly persons.
U. 
Disturbing the public peace and quiet by loud, boisterous or vulgar conduct.
V. 
Obstructing, resisting, hindering or opposing any member of the police force or any peace officer in the discharge of his or her duties as such.
W. 
Entering any garden or orchard located within the Village without the consent of the owner or tenant, or his or her agent, and there cut down, damage, destroy, eat or carry away any portion of such garden, including any growing thing, crop, tree, timber, grass, seed, soil, fertilizer, water supply, tool, implement, fence, or any other protective device or any other thing used for the development, cultivation, maintenance and use of the gardens or orchards.
X. 
Disturbing any service of worship or any other assembly gathered for lawful purposes.
Y. 
Knowingly selling, giving or furnishing liquor or beer to any drunken, intoxicated or disorderly person or to any habitual drunkard.

Any person convicted of a violation of this chapter shall be punished as provided in § 1-6 of the Village Code.
