Every operator of a vehicle approaching an intersection at which an official traffic control device is erected in accordance with this chapter shall obey the direction of such official traffic control device as required by the Wisconsin Statutes incorporated by reference in §
495-1 of this chapter. Operators of vehicles approaching a stop sign shall stop before entering a highway as required by § 346.46, Wis. Stats. Operators approaching intersections at which a yield sign has been installed shall yield the right-of-way to other vehicles as required by § 346.18(6), Wis. Stats.

A. Except
as otherwise provided in this section, the provisions of §§ 346.57.
346.58 and 346.59, Wis. Stats., relating to maximum or minimum speed
of vehicles are hereby adopted.
B. The Village
Board has determined that the statutory speed limit for Snyder Drive
is greater than is reasonable or safe under the conditions found to
exist upon Snyder Drive and that the actual speed of vehicles upon
Snyder Drive is greater than is reasonable and prudent; therefore,
the speed limit for the entire length of Snyder Drive within the jurisdictional
limits of the Village of Dane is set at 25 miles per hour.
C. The Village
Board has determined that the statutory speed limit for West Street
is greater than is reasonable or safe under the conditions found to
exist upon West Street and that the actual speed of vehicles upon
West Street is greater than is reasonable and prudent, therefore,
the speed limit for the entire length of West Street within the jurisdictional
limits of the Village of Dane is set at 15 miles per hour.

A. Use prohibited.
It is unlawful for any person to operate any motor vehicle with a
dynamic braking device engaged within the Village limits, except for
emergency situations for the purpose of avoiding a collision with
another object or vehicle.
B. Definitions.
As used in this section, the following terms shall have the meanings
