In order to establish staggered terms in accordance with changes made to § C3-2 of the Tolland Town Charter, at the November 5, 2019, municipal election: six Board of Education members shall be elected to two-year terms and three Board of Education members shall be elected to four-year terms. Each political party may nominate and each registered voter shall vote for no more than four two-year terms and two four-year terms. At each biennial municipal election thereafter, there shall be elected three members to four-year terms and three members to two-year terms. Each political party may nominate and each registered voter shall vote for no more than two two-year terms and two four-year terms.
