The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XX attached
to and made a part of this chapter are hereby designated as pedestrian
crosswalks.[1] The stopping or standing of vehicles within 25 feet of
the crosswalks is prohibited. Appropriate pavement markers and signs
may be installed on such streets or parts of streets consistent with
the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices and consistent with
the provisions of this chapter.
