This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Millcreek Township Official Map Ordinance."
The map entitled "Official Map Millcreek Township," which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A, is hereby adopted as the Official Map of Millcreek Township pursuant to Article IV of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code.[1]

A. 
The Millcreek Township Official Map, as signed and dated by the Millcreek Township Board of Supervisors and including all notations, references, and other data shown thereon, is hereby incorporated by reference into this chapter as if it were fully described herein.
B. 
Certification of Official Map. The Millcreek Township Official Map shall be identified by the signatures of the Millcreek Township Board of Supervisors, and attested by the Millcreek Township Secretary, under the following statement: "This is to certify that this is the Official Map of Millcreek Township referred to in the Official Map Ordinance (Ordinance No. 2021-5) of Millcreek Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania," together with the date of enactment of this chapter. The Millcreek Township Official Map shall be kept on file with the Millcreek Township Secretary. Following adoption of this chapter and the Official Map, or any amendment thereof, a copy of the same, verified by the Township Secretary, shall be submitted to the Recorder of Deeds of Erie County and shall be recorded within 60 days of the effective date of this chapter or amendment thereof.
C. 
Changes to the Official Map. If, in accord with the provisions of this chapter, changes are made to the location of lines designating existing or proposed public streets, watercourses, public grounds or easements, or other features, such changes shall be entered promptly on said Official Map. All changes, except those resulting from approval of subdivision and land development plans in accordance with applicable provisions of the Millcreek Township Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance,[1] shall be approved by reenactment of the Official Map and certification in accord with the applicable requirements of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code.[2]
