[Amended at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I)]
When practical, the grid system shall be used to number buildings in the Town of Webster. The numbers shall begin with zero at the Irondequoit Bay, and increase from west to east for each 25 feet of road frontage. Address numbers shall begin with number 100 on the Town Line Road at Lake Road and increase from north to south for each 50 feet of road frontage. Even numbers shall be on the east and north sides of the roadways, public or private. The number and street name to be assigned to corner lots shall not be disclosed until such time as an approved site plan is presented to the Assessor for such purpose. The perspective of emergency responders shall prevail. Building visibility from the right-of-way, driveway access, the facing direction of the building, etcetera, shall be taken into consideration when assigning which street governs the address for the quickest response.
