On the basis of powers granted to it in § 239-x, Article 12-F, of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York (Chapter 901 of the Laws of 1970), the Town hereby decrees on this 26th day of July 1973 the establishment of the Town Conservation Advisory Council.

The Council will consist of nine members, each to serve a term of two years and who will be appointed without compensation.
