A. 
All uses permitted in the B-1 Central Business Zone, except for public housing for elderly and apartments.

B. 
Stores and shops for the conduct of any retail or service use such as but not limited to: department stores; general and specialized merchandise stores; furniture, home furnishing and equipment stores; household appliance, radio and television stores; automotive accessory stores; wearing apparel and accessory stores; drugstores and pharmacies; stationery stores; food stores; restaurants; jewelry stores; sporting goods stores. The term "restaurant" as used herein and as used in § 298-38 shall be limited to only such establishments as provide for the sale and service of food or refreshments to patrons within the building or enclosed structure, and excludes establishments or businesses commonly known as "drive-ins" where a substantial portion of the food sold is for off-premises consumption or where customers may purchase food and refreshments in motor vehicles parked on or about the premises or at outdoor tables, benches or booths upon the premises.

C. 
Dance halls which the public may attend upon payment of an admission fee or other compensation are herewith prohibited. Public poolrooms or billiard parlors are herewith prohibited.

Other provisions and requirements shall be as follows:
A. 
As specified in the B-1 Commercial Zone (Central).
B. 
All B-2 lots and parts of B-2 lots adjacent to a residential district shall have a solid and continuous landscaped screen. Said landscaping shall consist of massed evergreen and deciduous trees and shrubs of such species and size as will produce, within two growing seasons, a screen at least four feet in height.
C. 
As specified in Article XVII, § 298-53.
D. 
Off-street parking shall be provided in accordance with section § 298-55.
