No person shall at any time have in his possession or at any time use or consume alcoholic or malt beverages in any public park or public recreation areas of the Borough of Mount Oliver.
No person shall at any time have in his possession an opened or unsealed container having therein any alcoholic or malt beverages or consume any alcoholic or malt beverages on any public thoroughfares within the Borough of Mount Oliver.
Police authorities charged with the enforcement of this chapter are given the power to confiscate all containers having contained therein alcoholic or malt beverages and all devices utilized for the pouring and serving of alcoholic or malt beverages.
It shall be the duty of the Mayor of the Borough of Mount Oliver to dispose of all containers and devices confiscated by police authorities in a manner which the Mayor deems proper.
Any person who shall be in violation of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction before any District Justice having jurisdiction over said matters, be fined not more than six hundred dollars ($600.), plus costs of prosecution, and, in default of payment of said fine or costs, be subject to imprisonment for a period of not more than thirty (30) days for each offense.
