Editor's Note: This ordinance also repealed
former Ch. 35, Town Property, Sale of, adopted 5-13-1985, as amended.
Upon receiving an offer to purchase Town-owned
real property, the Town Council or the Town administration shall forward
to the Stratford Planning Commission a request for a report in compliance
with Section 8-24 of the Connecticut General Statutes. The Town administration
shall also submit a report to the Town Council making a recommendation
regarding any proposed sale. The Town Council may, by majority vote,
approve or reject any proposal regarding the sale of Town-owned real
property.
