A code regulating premises on which swine are maintained; establishing minimum standards governing the location and maintenance of such premises; authorizing inspections of such premises; and declaring and fixing penalties for violations thereof is hereby adopted pursuant to N.J.S.A. 26:3-69.1 to 26:3-69.6. A copy of the code is annexed hereto and made a part hereof without inclusion of the text thereof herein.
The code established and adopted by this article is described and commonly known as the "Maintenance of Swine Code of New Jersey (1957)."
Three copies of the Maintenance of Swine Code of New Jersey (1957) have been placed on file in the office of the Secretary of the Board of Health and shall remain on file in the office for the use and examination of the public.
No person shall maintain more than one swine, as defined in the code, on premises within the borough until a valid license or permit therefor is issued by the Board of Health.
Licenses or permits required by this chapter or code may be denied or suspended by the Board of Health for failure to comply with this chapter or code. This Board of Health shall afford the person whose license or permit to maintain swine on premises has been denied or suspended an opportunity to be heard in public hearing and following this to be informed of the Board's decision within two weeks thereafter.
A. 
The fee for a license or permit to maintain swine on premises shall be as set forth in Chapter 119, Fees.
B. 
Licenses or permits issued for the maintenance of swine on premises shall expire annually on December 31, and application for renewal thereof shall be submitted together with the required fee prior to December 1.
