No person shall procure for, sell, dispense
or give away alcohol beverages to a person who is intoxicated.
No person holding a license to operate a restaurant
may give away or permit to be given away any alcohol beverages on
the restaurant premises.
No owner, lessee or person in charge of a public
place shall permit the consumption of alcohol beverages on the premises
of the public place unless the person has an appropriate retail license
or permit.
No person shall peddle any alcohol beverage
from house to house where the sale and delivery are made concurrently.
No person shall sell, offer for sale, serve
or consume any alcohol beverages upon any public street within the
Village.
No person shall use any amplification device
for the purpose of advertising the sale of alcohol beverages.

A. Restrictions.
(1) No person shall possess, serve, or consume an alcoholic
beverage in a Village park except by permit issued by the Village
Clerk or designee.
(2) No person shall at any time possess, serve, or consume
an alcoholic beverage in a parking lot of a Village park, in the parking
lot of or in any Village building, on the grounds of or other public
areas adjacent to a Village park or building.
B. Permits.
(1) All requests for a permit to possess, serve, or consume
alcoholic beverages under this section shall contain the name and
address of the individual responsible for the conduct of the persons
represented by the permit, the number of persons to be included in
the permit, the type/types of alcoholic beverages to be possessed,
served, or consumed and other information which may be required in
the opinion of the Village Clerk or designee or the Village Board.
(2) All permits shall be made available to the appropriate
agencies by the applicant, upon request. Failure to show proof of
a permit shall be sufficient grounds for revocation of the permit,
confiscation of alcoholic beverages, and subject the offender to arrest.
C. The following statement shall appear on all permits: "The individual whose name appears above is responsible for the conduct of all persons covered by this permit, as well as all the conditions of the permit as noted above. Violation of Chapter
109 of the Village Code may result in confiscation of alcoholic beverages, revocation of this permit and may subject the offender to arrest."
D. The Village Board may waive the requirements of this
section, upon proper justification, for major public events, or other
events of benefit to the general public. The grant or denial of permits
by the Village Clerk or designee are appealable to the Board.
