Any person, contractor, corporation or otherwise installing or having installed an underground sprinkling system using water from the Margate City Municipal Water System for use in sprinkling or watering lawns and/or shrubs shall, before commencing the installation of the same, obtain a permit from the Plumbing Subcode Official of the City of Margate City.[1]

The Plumbing Subcode Official, immediately upon the issuance of said permit, shall so notify the City Clerk of the City of Margate City so that the City Clerk can thereafter have a correct water bill issued to the owner of the premises whereon said underground sprinkling system is installed.

Any person who violates the provisions of this article shall be subject to a fine of not more than $1,000 or imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
