The Borough of Maywood Swim Pool Committee is established to supervise the operations and maintenance of the municipal swim pool and its grounds. All of the aforesaid authority shall be subject to the approval of the Mayor and Council.
The Municipal Pool Committee shall consist of five members, all residents of the Borough, who shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council.
A. 
All members of the Municipal Pool Committee shall be appointed for a period of two years and until their successors are duly appointed and qualified. In the case of the initial appointment of members of the Committee, two shall be appointed for one year and three appointed for two years, or until their successors are duly appointed and qualified.
B. 
Vacancies occurring in the membership of the Committee shall be filled by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council.
A. 
The Municipal Pool Committee shall have general supervision over the maintenance, operation and regulation of the municipal swimming pool and all forms of recreation, playground and public entertainment activities carried on in connection therewith. All of the aforesaid authority shall be subject to the approval of the Mayor and Council.
B. 
The members of said Committee shall serve without compensation.
All fees and other charges collected for admission to or use or enjoyment of the municipal swimming pool or for any recreational privilege, entertainment or other activity carried on in connection therewith shall be turned over to the Treasurer of the Borough and shall be kept in an account separate and distinct from any other accounts of the Borough. All disbursements and expenditures incurred in connection with the supervision and control of the municipal swimming pool shall be approved by the Mayor and Council.
The Municipal Pool Committee shall make an annual report on or before the first day of January and shall transmit the same to the Mayor and Council. Said report shall contain a comprehensive and detailed account covering operations, receipts, disbursements and expenditures for the full year.
