All districts are located and bound on a map entitled "Town of Dover Massachusetts Zoning Map," dated May 1981, as previously amended and on file in the office of the Town Clerk. The Zoning Map is hereby made a part of this chapter.[1]

The boundaries between districts shown on the Zoning Map, unless otherwise plainly indicated, are:
A. 
The center lines of streets and of the right-of-way of gas transmission lines.
B. 
Lines parallel with the side lines of streets and:
(1) 
Two hundred feet distant for R District.
(2) 
Three hundred feet distant for R-1 District.
(3) 
Four hundred feet distant for R-2 District.
C. 
Existing lot lines and straight lines connecting corners of properties.
D. 
Contour lines of indicated elevation above the datum mean sea level of the United States Geological Survey. (See § 185-39D)
